Senior Vice President and General Manager, Metadata Business Group at TiVo Corporation

Sarah Gaeta is Senior Vice President and General Manager of TiVo’s Metadata business group. In this role she manages more than 300 people who address worldwide product, operations, and engineering efforts to support and grow the TiVo Metadata business.

TiVo Metadata is the world’s go-to catalog for entertainment information and imagery, providing accurate, in-depth coverage of TV, movies, sports, celebrities, music, books, and games – optimized for effective content discovery on today’s most popular operating systems and devices. Top brands use TiVo Metadata to increase engagement with current customers and attract new ones through local TV listings, cable and streaming apps, automotive systems, playlists, websites, and more.

Prior to her current role, Gaeta served as Vice President of Business and Product Operations for TiVo’s User Experience business group. In this capacity she led the operating model and commercial lifecycle implementation and evolution; establishing operational cadence and business rigor to provide near-real time visibility into resource allocation, spend vs. budget and new deal pipeline management. Additionally, she also oversaw the Program Management Office and Technical Publications group.

Gaeta’s initial role at TiVo was as Vice President and General Manager, Classic Guides, where she led a team that consisted of 100 engineers, professional services, business development, and product managers delivering PayTV Guides to millions of households worldwide.

Prior to TiVo, Gaeta was Vice President and General Manager for the Dragon Desktop Business Unit at Nuance Corporation, where she oversaw the company’s Dragon Naturally Speaking, Dragon Dictate and Dragon Assistant product lines.

Additionally, Gaeta’s background includes more than 20 years of executive leadership at Ricoh EWS, Motorola Mobility, Plastic Logic, and Adobe Systems, where she was responsible for Product Marketing and Management, Strategic Planning, and Business and Partner Development.

Gaeta holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a Ed.M. from Harvard University.
