Vice President of Business Intelligence at the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx
Laura Meyer is a trailblazer in the NBA. She has many accomplishments in her tenure as Vice President of Business Intelligence at the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx. Not only has she brought the organization to new heights including leading the conversion to digital ticketing and being the first team in the NBA and WNBA to have 100% digital entry, but she is one of the few female Business Intelligence Vice Presidents throughout the entire NBA. Meyer is responsible for driving the organization’s business objectives and strategic initiatives through data acquisition, analysis and visualization. She spearheaded the implementation of the team’s data warehouse and its integration with all sales and marketing technologies to enable automation, optimize efficiency, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
Meyer graduated magna cum laude from the University Scholars honors program at Xavier University with a degree in Sports Management and double minor in Business and Psychology. She is a founding member of the Timberwolves and Lynx Women’s Leadership Council focusing on the professional development, empowerment and growth of women in the workplace.
