Christi Marrufo leads Applied Materials Knowledge Management and Collaboration Solutions organization at Applied Materials, Inc. She is responsible for providing tools and processes for effective knowledge sharing and collaboration as well as unified communications. Her mission is to accelerate innovation and learning rates by improving productivity, collaboration and knowledge visibility across Applied Materials in 21 countries and 31,000 users.

Mrs. Marrufo has managed a wide variety of IT services and support operations over her career including help desk, data center, identity management, database services, enterprise monitoring and more. Prior to joining Applied Materials in 1995, she managed IT support organizations for the State of Texas.

Mrs. Marrufo holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State University and an ITIL Expert certification. Christi is active in disability rights advocacy and is on the board of directors of Upward for Women Austin chapter.

Mrs. Marrufo enjoys camping, travel and scuba diving.
